The Call
How the Lord Found Me
In his own words — the true account of a young man from the village who was
never a church-goer, until Heaven interrupted his life.

The Light by the Graveyard
It was the 10th of April, 2009. I was seventeen years old and not a church person —
I knew that God existed, but I had no idea He could appear to a man. That evening I was out
with friends near Benny’s Tavern in the village, and as we headed home around seven
o’clock the darkness was setting in.
Suddenly, a few metres ahead of us, a bright light appeared beside the fence by the
graveyard. Inside that light was the figure of a man, shining beyond anything I had ever
seen. We were terrified and ran — yet when I looked back I felt as though He was right
behind me, and when I looked again, He was gone.

A Voice in the Night
One midnight in November 2010, during my Grade 10 exams, a voice woke me. It called me by
my name and said, “I have a work for you.” I did not understand. The
voice spoke inside my mind and deep within me — full of power, yet carrying such love
and kindness that I wept.
I felt like electric waves moving over my whole body — afraid and yet at peace, all at
once. My mother thought I was losing my mind, and the next day she took me to my
grandmother’s church, a prophetic ministry called Miracle Center. It was there that I
learned how to pray, and how to serve God.
The Fire
Consumed and Made New
There was a revival in the village of Hluvukani, where my grandmother’s church was.
The man of God preached, and his words pierced me: “If you don’t have Jesus,
you are going nowhere in life.” Those words seized my heart, and I went to the
front to accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.
As I stood there, I saw a living fire come toward me. It consumed my flesh and rebuilt me
anew, and the fire — orange like a flame — came to rest in my right hand. I was
no longer the same.

Taken Up in a Vision
In January 2011 our church held twenty-one days of fasting and prayer. I did not yet know
how to pray, but I was learning. With three days remaining, I was praying in a corner behind
the door when my spirit rose so high that I saw myself lift out of my body — I could
even see myself still praying below as I ascended.
In a moment I was in a place whose beauty I have no words to describe. There stood a Man
clothed in light, turned so that I saw only His back. I was astonished — I had thought
Jesus was dead, yet here He was, alive. Then two angels came, took hold of me, and flew with
me, until I returned to my body. That is where I discovered my calling into the ministry.
”
From a young man who knew nothing of prayer, the Lord has raised a servant to carry His word
to the nations.
